Edward Bernard Dillard was born on September 15, 1952, in Hopkinsville, KY. In 1972 he, graduated from Hopkinsville Community College. He also received a bachelor degree in Psychology, with a minor in Textiles and Clothing at Western Kentucky University. It was there that his interest in fashion was inspired after enrolling in a beginners sewing class. In 1992 Edward return to school at Nova University and studied Psychology and received a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling. With a burning desire for sewing and designs, he also continued to design for friends and family. 

In 2003 Edward relocated to Alpharetta, Ga where he decided to rekindle the fashion design flame, Edward enrolled in a fashion design school, AIU Atlanta. He completed the 5 yr program in 2 yrs and graduated Summa Cum Laude. Encouraged by faculty, he applied for a business license in the name of                                              

                                                "Edward of Louisville". 

In 2009, "Edward of Louisville" was the featured designer in a breast cancer awareness show sponsor by Atlanta super model, Mimi Roche. In 2011 Edward showed a twelve piece collection in the ATL vs NY fashion show held in Atlanta. In 2011 and 2012 he was a featured Designer in the Derby City Fashion Week. In 2012 and 2013 Edward presented a 25 piece collection in Atlanta's third and fourth annual Beach Bling Swimwear, presents Spring & Summer Heat Fashion Explosion.

Edward Dillard is an outstanding leader in the design community, as well as a mentor to many in the field of Fashion Designs. Edward has been a major supporter of Beach Bling Swimwear, LLC on the runway and off.
